I just bought an apex off a friend. I can't seem to get warm idle above 1,100 rpm. I did notice he had the atmospheric pressure sensor tied into corner of blowoff valve. That would be ok if we were above 5,000 feet but were sea level. This is the sensor down in front of the left side of the battery. My question is does this sensor get a vacuum line going to it stock or not? I have another apex but to get to that sensor or even to see it, is a pain

Here's a weird twist to this now. When I remove vacuum line off blowoff valve which is tied to 2 of the throttle bodies it raises the idle. This thing making me think to much. Any help would be appreciated.

That sensor is the barometric sensor for ambient air pressure. It is the same P/N as the MAP sensor but that one stays in the open air.
If you can't get the idle high enough with the idle screw on the side of the IAC, then adjust the throttle plate opening, small allen head set screw down under the throttle bodies. I did this so I could get 1800-2000 rpm idle, might have to reset 0% for TPS if it requires it for the MCX box. I had to for my Motec.

I pulled throttle cable up a little bit. Brought tps to 17% still within specs. Idle at 1500 rpm. I hope this is all it is . He had intercooler boots glued to throttle bodies and intercooler.

The throttle bodies have the black carbon buildup on butterflies also. Going to clean them tomorrow. Will report back.

The carbon build up and some glue in the throttle bodies weren't letting enough air through butterflies. When it's warm now it idles at 1500rpm. I fixed the intercooler holder, it was broken. Rather than fixing that, the previous owner glued intercooler boots to intercooler and throttle bodies.

Did you remove the vacuum line from the barometric/outside air pressure sensor?
As mbarryracing says it's supposed to measure open air.

So now I have to fix turbo mount. He hard mounted to the frame and it's about half an inch to far forward. I need to loosen exhaust and try to move it back.
