Quick translation of the SnowRider site info:

"SnowRiders co-partner MCXpress, Altersbruk, Sweden, is the first tuning company to offer a turbo kit for the new Yamaha Phazer.
According to company owner Erik Marklund the brake horsepower is 140 hp and the price of the kit is 28000 SEK.
Since the Phazer is 89900 SEK you will end up with a 140 hp sled at less than 120000 SEK...
The installation of the kit is easy to perform and the weight increase is negligible."

28000 SEK is USD 3718 with todays exchange rate.

Wow is all i can say. I cant wait to ride one of theses sleds, should be a blast.

The only thing that concerns me is the holes next to the intercoolers into the engine bay. For us that play in the steep and deep that means a lot of snow will get in, not what i want.

Other than that the sled looks great and im sure i will be sending alot of 2 strokers home unhappy:)

I would be very surpised if any stock 600 does not smoke the Phazer Turbo if the trail has any curves at all! 100% sure...

The Phazer will most likely behave like a bicycle, unfortunately a bicycle you cannot lean inwards... Turbo plus intercooler makes this even worse!

ROFLMAO!

That has got to be one of THE most un-informed posts I've ever seen.

Go back under your bridge TROLL!! If you haven't ridden one, SHUT UP! This chassis is THE most forgiving I have ever been on. I weigh 285 and even with the shocks SLAMMIN', it went where I pointed it!! Any other responses on your part ?

Ahhh, I love those furious attacks, :) Has anyone ridden it in any direction than straight forward, I mean like bends and stuff? Side by side with other sleds? You just cannot mess with good old Newtonian laws, ;)

Or are you just using your old good "Yammi-eyes"? Just wondering... ;)

If you search ALL my posts, you will see NO attacks on ANYONE. I am personally fed up with ignorant posts by someone trying to stir trouble. Have YOU ridden one? What Newtonian Laws are you refering to? Please enlighten me with your wisdom. I just hope it's better than than what you have already posted.

Viper_Dave:There's no point in argue with him.
He think's his mission on earth is to piss people off.
Don't think this is the first forum he's been on.

I am not trying to stir trouble. Just want to make sure that people know what they are buying. Previous four-stroke Yammis haven't been the great ditch bangers or trail machines some have told people they would be. In an annual sled test in Sweden, the 3-cyl and 4-cyl got spanked soooo bad.

A basic newtonian law states that a mass tries to strive outwards in the turns, centripetal force. Since the Phazer is not too heavy, this might not be the main issue.

The main issue is instead that if the center of gravity is high, a moment is the result, trying to overturn the sled in corners.

That is what people are facing. Just want to straighten out the facts. I am sick of people getting tricked!

I actually haven't ridden the phazer, but I know some physics! Just saying that people should try the Phazer before buying it... I wouldn't buy it before that...

Appreciate the response. If this had been the tone and intent of your first post, mine would have been much different. I have ridden the Phazer. All but the Mountain version. This opinion is mine; If the Phazer was delivered in STOCK form with 100 HP, I would own one. NOT wild about the looks, but anyone that has ridden with me knows I DON'T CARE ABOUT LOOKS!! This sled was VERY stable in 2-3 FT. whooped out , twisty, gnarly trails. NOT tippy!! This said, I would never reccomend to ANYONE, the purchase of a sled without a test ride. Just as I would reccomend, making NO statements about handling, tippyness, etc.. without RIDING one. I am finished here, hope you have a great day.

Dave
