turk- how's the sled? i hope you are enjoying it! what is your experience with meth? i have a xr 1200 too and a powerderlites kit just wondering how beneficial the meth is for trail riding?
any help would be appreciated.

this is your old sled i bought from you. Meth is da bomb!!!
You had a serious fuel leak & i was lucky sled never burned to the ground but it was ripped apart right away anyway.
Anyway..call Dave at hurricane & order his meth kit. 16 pounds boost on 91 octane with stock compression & bigger turbo works for me!

X2 on what Turk says, I run 16-22 lbs on 93 pump with Hurricane's Meth kit.

looking for the info on the meth kit's dependability and amount of meth used per tank of fuel...

A few seasons in mine and my friend's turbo sleds, no problems. Meth consumption is less than 2 quarters pr tank of fuel. I run 2 stock meth tanks for a total of 4 quarters - 1 Gallon. I run the Failsafe unit and boost controller bypass to drop boost level to wastegate base setting if the meth flow drops under a set ml/sec at 100% pump capacity, I have the failsafe unit set at 160-170 ml/sec.

I wish I could wrap my mind around the failsafe...but since I didnt install the unit my knowledge is pretty limited..

two quarts per tank...is that with a number two nozzle...?

I imagine since you are running a much higher boost you would use more?

What the heck is a quarter of meth. Whats that in Litres or gallons. I have Hurricanes meth kit too but scared to run it. How do I know that its working Should I have an egt installed so I can watch temps or what.

pull the hose to the controller and plug.....pull the nozzles...add air to controller like around 10lbs...with power the pumps should active and nozzles spray..
