puddytatman

Just ride your machZ a turbo yamaha would be to fast for you LOL!!! :jump: Pete

Selling mine to get a nytro or may not sell it dunno yet going to ride the nytro sunday.

jamie the nytro with stock compression and 8lbs will be wicked quick. ive got 10000kms now on my ape time to move on. nytro for me.

Yeah going nytro too I think dunno yet though, the small tank sucks we may do an all motor head porting/cam timing/exhaust/intake mods and see if we can make 160 hp.

i dont believe you your hooked on boost now naturally asperated will seem like a 69 olypic, i think the tank size is relavent to how fuel efficient these 3cyls are. ask dave how well his turboed vectors are working. the bis is this weekend i hope they get feedback quickly. i got a feeling there are some 3cyls that might surprise the nay sayers. remember torque rules when it comes to moving weight.

as for guys selling just to buy new i just cant see investing that type of money in something and putting on little miles to sell it just to have a new one next year. either that or i dont make enough money doing what i do.......

gubba better tell rick i may have some blue underwear on next year and watch out.......................

You wanna play you gotta pay.

Paying to play is not the problem. I have paid for years and the problem is rarely if ever do you get the hype that is sold. I have seen all to many times with big bore kits especially most recently in the HP wars of 2 strokes. This week there F9 is 185 so next week the other guys is 195 and so on. There is always more to every story and it all depends how much more to that story do you want to pay. Maybe just maybe this front mount kit of CPR is what is being claimed. But I rather have someone come on here and say this is everything you will need to make this kit run and have little problems with it. Just look at how many extra pieces to the puzzle you have had to buy Jamie.

Good luck. The Asian motorcycle manufacturers do not leave much on the table without adding very large dollars. This increase in horsepower may come at the expense of other portions of the power curve.

Turbo is not a hype :-) $ for $ turbo or SC is what gives you the bang for your buck, going NA and making big power is expencive, a lot more $ than a turbo/SC and still short on power comparing to a trail turbo.

Ohhhhachh - gotta get back on topic ....
Great to see that Simons CPR Apex turbo is working well, Jeff sure takes his time making his kits perform before he starts taking orders :-) I'm really considering a kit if I ever going to buy an Apex or Attak.

For all the turbos I have seen on the snow, ice and tar there were considerably more that did not work worth a chit than did and it was just that.... hype. Perhaps now the hype is not as much just talk but that could not be said a few years back.

Few years back and everyone had leaking T's on the carb float bowl vent lines on the RX-1's. Notably, the Bender rear mount was very susceptible to that as they just crazy glued them. All depends on who installed them. I never had issues with the CPR kits for the RX-1. EFI's don't have float bowls. Still need to be aware of controllers not working or being set wrong though. I know one thing, I sure miss my turbo sled now that we have had snow for a week. I did get 600 miles on my stock ATTAK GT in the mean time however. I sure like boost !!!!!!!

Not trying to be difficult but did not the CPR turbos experience cracked header problems??? I also was lead to believe that most of the hardware supplied to these kits was inferior so if as you say the right person installed it most of that hardware would be upgraded but that is rarely if ever stated. And there will never be any denying the fact that these same turbos had extensive under the hood heat problems and the need for a numbe rof gauges and gadgets to have the complete kit.

To me everyone does not tell it all when selling anything that is the way of the world what is agravating is making it sound as if just bolt it on and go and everything is good. Not a bash just venting after many season of big bore efi tried tested big bore kits being anything but nad it just sounds all to familar.
