Put on my Barn of Parts MPS arms Friday after they came in the mail. I was skeptical this would really work that well as I though the Winder steered pretty easy stock. All I can say is I wished I'd have done it earlier!
Rode this weekend and can honestly say this is one sweet mod. It steers even easier and the bars do not get ripped from you hands when hitting ruts, chunks etc. I was worried about bump steer and turning radius as it appears to alter the tie rod angle, but my concern was eased after finding no ill effects at all with bump steer and the little bit less turn radius I can live with as it really does steer easier than I could have imagined, and this is with carbides on my Doo skis I wouldn't run on my 1200 as they steered so hard on the 1200 Doo!
Took a little bit to get used to swinging the bars a little more, but once used to it, no big deal.
Very happy with the ride and handling of winder, and the BOP MPS arms made it even better. Very nice Travis!

Does he still have the 3 holes. Which one did you use? I’m thinking of trying this myself as my Curves are a bear to turn. I’ve gotten them a lot lighter than where I started but would just like it a tad lighter. I think I’d like to try the lowest setting if he still has 3, least effect on the steering with just a bit more leverage.

I set it in the middle of the three. I was going to try the least leverage also, but just threw it in the middle setting.

Holy Fulcrum Batman!!
@KnappAttack - I forgot you had this and when I mentioned I was getting it in text you didn't say anything, but I now BELIEVE!
I installed the kit hastily last Friday before I left for a ride this last weekend on the North Shore, I wasn't sure how much it would really help but the ride prior had that super-hard a[ck snow that's hard to turn in so I wanted to give it a try as my shoulders were hurting bad - all I can say is "wow". Actually I can say a lot, but Mr Sled will have to edit out all the expletives on how much I like this mod. I'm getting older and shoulder pain is a real thing, sharp right turns have always been difficult for me to pull the handle bar in enough - NOT anymore. Steering effort was WAY easier and I could easily crank the handle bars all the way to the right w/o much effort, I was rarely able to do that before in deep snow with my shoulder. I didn't notice the reduced steering radius in the trail at all - it's a complete non-issue. Steering radius reduction in parking lots and such wasn't much worse IMHO.
My nerdy Id wishes I had done some tests that included before and after data (I didn't have time), it wouldn't have been that hard to use a fish scale and measure the before and after force needed to move the bars on a surface with decent friction, but oh well. My subjective "NICE WORK @hibshman25 !!" will have to do.
I set it on the furthest hole right from the start and given the minor changes in gas station parking lots and trying to turn around on a trail that's exactly where I'll leave it. If you're on the fence about this mod DO IT. If you have shoulder pain like so many of us as we get older DO IT NOW.

Art, I actually took it off as the old MPS arms I had installed, introduced some bad bump steer because the tie rods were no longer on the same plane as stock. I'm now running without the MPS and just Aggressive SnowTrackers on my 5.7 Race skis.
Travis PM'd me he was going to send me a new kit to try with the new arms that keep the tie rods on the same plane as stock, but I haven't heard back from him yet. I'm assuming you got the new kit and arms that have the rods on the same plane as stock, in which case it shouldn't have that bad bump steer I hope.

Hey Mike - yes, I have the new gen kit that puts the tie rod ball joint on the same plane as stock. I'm surprised there aren't more guys talking about this kit - it steers like a dream now and made the sled a lot easier (quicker) in the turns for me. Even if you don't have bad shoulders I think this is a night and day difference, especially when the snow is that super crusty hard-pack that's hard to steer sharply in. I WISH I had done this kit last year, but then I guess I wouldn't have the new gen mounts.
Nice work @hibshman25 !!

My wife has claimed the Winder when we are both riding together so I plan on installing this kit for her when Travis has developed one for the "Dog Bone" type ski spindles, that are on my 2019 X-TX LE.
Travis emailed me and said they were working on a kit for the Mountain type ski spindle sleds.
My wife finds the riding position high on the X-TX so, when she rides it, I change seats to the lower one from a 2019 SRX in place of the Mountain seat as it is 2" lower.
Lucky I kept my Attak...its not a bad second choice of my sleds to ride.

yamamarc my trail set-up is actually Cat mountain ski (7inch 2018) with semi-snowtrackers on my High Country. Steering is very light, but what's traditional with the Snowtrackers, is that when there is 3-4'' of fresh snow on the trail, it understeer a good amount. So when there is fresh snow I switch for my SLP Mohawk's.
I still like the Snowtrackers for ice hardpack conditions.
I can't wait to try my friend 2020 SRX with the new Kimpex skis. He say it is so much more predictable than the tuner's and 2.5 x easier to steer.

I been running tracker since 2014 on cat skis and love this set up works amazing for aggressive trail riding!!How’s this setup working for you?
I find mine to be very light steering .
I tried semi aggressive this time around and rather run the aggressive snow trackers hand down!!
Semi DO NOT have the bite like the aggressive one do!!
I will be definitely bebuying aggressive one for next season!
Set up is key
-Make sure skis are parallel(0 toe in)
- tighten center shock until you get push in the corner then start loosening 1 turn at a time till you find the perfect balance of light steering and 0 push in corners
