Mr.Sled I gave up a 02 MXZ 800 with stiff springs and a 4" bar riser,I ordered a 06 RTX in comparison,Do you think I will be happy with the ride?I am 6'2" 280 with gear,or will I have to get a heavier spring for the rear?

The RTX rear spring has the capacity for riders up to 300 lbs. So you should not have a problem.

05rxwarrior , I would start with the stock spring, but I would set it in the 2nd sir clip on the 7 position adjuster and if that dont work for you then yes, the heavy spring will be the way to go....but at this point this is all speculation based on Demos and not productions units ...

mr sled, did you compare the apex against the attak? acceleration and top end. is there a big diffrence. does the gt pull harder than the attak?

I did not have that much seat time on a Attak but the demos we rode the Attak felt very similar to the Apex. As sure footed as it felt on the snow compared to the Apex and with the extra track on the snow, I would guess that it will come off the line faster but would have some top end loss. But I have not seat of the pants answers for you that I have experienced.
