I find that funny. Number one he is a new memeber and number 2 this is the first I've posted on the site in 2 months.

I'm also the most gracious loser. I'll be the first to shake your hand and say good job when i get beat which is often.

Anyway on Tom's advice this is the last post I'll ask John to make on this topic.

As far as being a new member? I've been around under this screen name since before there even was a totallyamaha site. I remeber when the only thing we had on the net was amsnow. I can't help it when accounts get reset and you lose your post count.
 
11,000 rpms..????

Ive got 1130 miles on my Gt and i only pull about 10,200 on hard pack when nailing it from any speed above 50mph.. From a dead stop it will pull 10,500 and drop to 10,200!

Why are some sleds pulling more RPMS than others!
 
You may want to adjust your weights to go to 10,500. With the amount of miles on your sled, you could try it. It would help a bit. I believe the other ones may just be a stronger motor.

Stronger motor maybe?? I only have 250 miles and am seeing 11k very quickly and it stays. This motor on my Attak definately revs quicker and higher than either motor in my RX-1 and Warrior :Rockon:
 
I was seeing pretty high rpm's also, like 10,800. I took some 100 grit to the clutches and it seemed to help pull it down 2-300. I think maybe i was getting some belt slippage.
