Ok, so I will be there with a buddy this weekend. We just decided so couldn't get a room in the comfort inn, but are staying just down the road a piece. Hope to meet some of you guys this weekend.

Is there a protocol for registering with the TY group when we arrive?

I called 3 places and they were all booked up, so there must be some pent up demand for snow.

Meet up in the lobby, by 9 and or parking lot by 9:30 gassed and ready to go and we try to hit the trail by 10.. u can always check out the bar the night before as well.

My guess is they will be in the bar area Thursday night!!!!! FYI THE HOTEL HAS TRAIL PASSES PER THE LADY I SPOKE TOO

The bar is in the hotel we stay at and you can get a trail pass at the gas station 2 block away at the trail head.

My daughter and I took a short ride yesterday from Marquette to Christmas on trail 417 to check out conditions. We stopped at Lankenland on the way and took the attached picture to show conditions. Trails had not been groomed yet, but were smooth with some bare ice spots and a few rocks etc...We received about 6 inches yesterday near Marquette and toward the east. We are supposed to get hit tonite and into tomorrow with maybe 5-7 inches. I think by this weekend conditions will be fair to good which is far better than not riding at all that is for sure!!! I plan on coming over to ride with the group on Saturday, Sunday and probably Monday. Grand Marais has been getting some nice lake effect today. Safe travels all
