My 136 Conversion and Track Cutting. Updated for 2011

The hole was drilled and tapped up through the bottom between the two factory bushings. The greese zerk is a 90 degree with 1/4 - 28 thread. The bottom hole you now created needs to be plugged by pressing in a small ball bearing or weld it back shut.

I tried it out once i got the spindles and skis back in and it pushed through the grease just like i wanted. Hopefully this will help all these pasrts last longer.

Here are the spindles and bumpers back on the sled! And some MTX skis i picked up at a swap last month for $45!

Anybody ever Line-x a tunnel? I got a buddy who does it could get it done cheap. Thoughts? Add too much weight? Look good or stupid?

Regarding cutting the track: What type of blade did you use?

Here is an update. Since i was changing the filter, i took the time to pull the front sub off. Then in rebuilt the sloopy steering unit by making some bushings. I also added some greese zerks probably don't need them but couldn't hurt to shoot some in there every now and then.

Thanks got the track installed last night and the rear skid sitting in there. Hopefully will find time to work on it the next couple nights.

Lookin' good! My rails are currently getting PC'd black at the moment. I have a good idea how it will look when its done, thanks to your pics. Do you have any more?
