No problem I was a little sceptical purchasing them and figured others would be also. Hope everyone has the same great results I did.

Question for you guys. I am coming off of a 08 Skidoo MXZX 800R. Spring order sled for me. I had every problem known to man. Final straw was a broken secondary clutch tower. Primary hit secondary at 90+.
My point. That sled wore hyfax in 100 miles in pure snow. I kept changing them and changing them. Almost every ride. Someone finally posted that they just left them on finally. They would only wear to a certain spot, and just stop wearing. So I finally gave in a left mine. Sure enough, they would only wear so far.
Is that the case here, or has anybody literally worn them right to the rails and experienced a failure.

In bad conditions I have worn them totally out. These hyfax will solve that plus they are supose to decrease drag and increase top end speed. If you are in the need to change yours I would go with them. I think in the long run with the time you save and money from the standard ones you will be ahead. Plus just from the peace of mind of not worrying about if your hyfax are going to make it through the trip. I just went up with a friend that has a new freeride and his where pretty much gone when mine where still in great shape.

Are these at all dealers now or are some dealers still waiting on their orders?

My local dealer got three sets and a few sets of the new ski's between Christmas and New Years. I'm not sure but I'm assuming they have received more since.

Could someone verify part number for me on these. Went to the Yamaha site, and came up with this. SMA-DPSSR-00-00, and that they are 144" long. I am guessing they bolt right onto the Nytro, and otherwise need to be cut. The description is NOT sled specific though. Usually, it says "fits 08-11 bla bla"
Can I get a verification on this? Thanks guys.

They are only one length and need to be cut to fit the shorter models.

1000 plus miles on vet crappy conditions and I am still very happy with the results so far.

I think most people change their slides prematurely...first few hundred miles they wear VERY quick. I even smell mine melting when i have brand new slides on but after a few hundred miles they harden up and last a long time.
For me, I notice my slides wear very fast until there is about an 1/8" of ledge left. At that point they will last me another 800-100 miles with out any more wear. I have never worn through a set all the way through either...

Well I have and especially with the conditions we have had in the Midwest. I agree they will wear fast at first and then slow down but last trip up north my buddies where through to the aluminum and luckily caught it and changed before there was damage
Put a set on my sled but only have been able to ride about 10 miles.

I just tried to get some in Ontario and they are on backordered. They are still limited in the number released each week. My dealer had 30 and they are all gone and did some digging into getting more and it looks like he won't get more till the end of February.
So i guess I am just replacing with the stock ones for this season.
