My Simons CPR Attak on dyno, WOW

hey guys if it helps i just rolled10000kms on the weekend my sled had a turbo on it from new. was never ridden in stock trim.i know for a fact these engines are extremely tough. 15lbs of boost on pump gas time and time again.

Thanks Mike , that is all we can ask for , the actual results !

Many of us are looking to purchase a turbo / supercharger kit for next year , the most accurate hands on info you supply is the best !

Thanks again !!!!!!!!

puttytatman, I may not understand where you are coming from. Yes, I would normally put on 3500 miles per year. Yes, it should easily last many more times those miles in my opinion. That is my reason for posting, is to give first hand info to the guys on this site waiting for info. All I can give you is the story to date. Sorry I don't have more miles than that as its been a poor winter. If I didn't think it would last, I would not have it on my machine. I am not the one to give any warranties as CPR builds these kits. I have no vested interest in CPR. Don't know weather you are asking about kits, or the sled. Hope that helps.

Sorry I do not mean confuse or to discredit anything or anyone. It is just in this day and age of internet sales everything is tried, tested and true as soon as it comes off the dyno and on the field for a run that up here we can do in a day or two.

Lets face it the many motorheads up here and down there - look how many follow this thread - all strive to have a fast sled. The 2 strokes are losing there appeal especially with all the problems surfacing. The 4 strokes are to underpowered thus turbo, supercharger, NOS is appealing but it is one thing to dish out $ 1000.00 or so for NOS but the kind of money for a turbo or a Supercharger one needs to know what is the real story and real costs.

Not saying yours is not the real story it is just I have heard from many a guy who have had turbos, superchargers etc and it is always not as advertised. It would be so refreshing to have someone tell it like it really is and say yes you will encounter this and that and if that bothers you dont buy it or you will need this that and everything else to do it right and if that is to much dont buy it but we all know that will never happen.

That is all and thanks for your info. You are an asset to this site.

Thank You! I understand, and agree totally. That is why I am so excited about this kit from CPR. Because it is everything that they claim and more. That is why I keep everyone up to date as much as I can. If it was not as I expected, I would not be ranting and raving about it. I will post what I find, good bad or ugly. I'm having great success with this kit and I will report it as it comes. Now I need to get ready to load it cause it's going to a new home. Switched another rider over to blue. Damn these boosted four-strokes are addicting. Don't ride one unless you are ready to buy. Mike Knapp#17

Mr Knapp I thank you for your reply. I am very interested to know what was the sled selling for. I looked in the classifieds and did not see it there. I see it is coming east too.

well we finally got the big sled across the border...ouff juste pay de tax next time ...my bum is sore . going riding now and will report back . the thing is all new to me gotta get used to letting off throttle and still accelarating. excellent dealings with mr knapp

IMO, for what its worth, all the kits, if properly installed and setup, make any of the sleds run better than anything out there today (stock or modified). I agree with Mike 100%. DON'T RIDE ONE UNTIL YOU ARE READY TO BUY ONE!. If you do be ready for a downer everytime you ride a normally aspirated sled. These boosted sleds are addictive! :4STroke: :yam:

Well visegrip it ought to be time for a report of my baby. We have 2 feet of fresh snow here now and I have been riding for 3 days seems like nonstop. I picked up a 07 ATTAK GT from Hauck on the way home and have 340 miles on it already. Nice to have snow finally at home. Ridding a stocker is like a kids sled after the turbo sled. Awaiting some news here visegrip. Maybe you are riding nonstop like I am finally. Mike

well cant wait to hear about jd's outcome this weekend. I here they were suppose to radar runner just waiting for results.

Hey stan!! I had to jump in here! I was like you also, I love the two strokes, and yes the cost large$$$ I also know you ride alot diffrent
than I do.

BUT!! god strike me dead if I am lying!! I have NOT turend a screw to this sled all winter!!

Its been the most fun I have ever had on a sled!

so far I have rode about 2000ks this winter, i know its not a lot!
But like I said.... NO DOWN TIME!!

and thats good for me!!

OH YA! one more thing!!! this weekend I rode from one end of lake of bays to the other, averge speed 110mph + on a 144x1.5 and I did not stop once!
I would not try doing this with my 1010!

stan!! drop by the shop this weeek!! I have a few here(turbos) will go for a ride!

see you soon!!

John I will take you up on that and I find it more interesting each day with all the 2 stroke problems.

On another note I heard JD ran 165 and blew the track out going through the gun. This was a carpet track and I believe a longer pull in the area of 2500 feet. I am sure the exact details will come out soon.

It wasn't JD's sled that blew a track.
