I am replacing the front subframe and I need to get the expandable nuts that go into the subframe to bolt the skid plate to. I cant reuse the old ones so any help would be great thanks.

I bought what I think is called a nut cert. You can find them at Menards home depot ect. They are with the rivet guns. It is like a rivet but allows you to thread a bolt in the center of the rivet. They work great!

Nutserts can be a problem over time. They can loosen and eventually spin in the frame so I stay away from them if possible. Speed nuts work well and can be found at most hardware or auto parts stores. http://www.dormanproducts.com/c-642-speed-nuts.aspx

X3 original nutserts vibrated loose after 900 miles. I finally got them out and put in speed nuts I picked up at an auto parts place in the blister packs.
