New sled fourth sidewinder I have owned. 137,two 141 now a 153!! Love the wheelies these do and as I get older going crazy fast on trails isn’t what I like any more. Curious if any one else is riding a 153 on trails? I am swapping front end out to a 42 inch, trimming lugs down to 2 or less. Precision skis. Of course I will be adding tune and what not. Just wondering if any other nuts out there like me? I know people will bash me for for this and say why didn’t you buy this or that. This was a brand new left over sled with 0 miles so I running it!!!

I will be running a btx this winter. Coming from a 144 apex. A friend I been riding with run a high country 153. I feel it's perfect for our type of riding.

I have a BTX Sidewinder I'm anOld Guy!! You can't get a short track where I live so go with the flow!! I wanted the Skinz 45 Trophy suspension package but they no longer offer it!! I put the 2020 Arctic Cat front end on!! I will try it out soon I hope!! Your 153 MTX will work just fine with a wide front end!!

Agman runs a 153 btx on trail and loves it, i rode it for 10-20 miles and liked it as well. Hope he chimes in on his front end and lug depth. I think 1.75 as it was a chunker to follow.

More idler wheels 4th wheel kit from J&T and Ibexx ice scratchers and the tune of your choice!! And shave your track down from 3 inches

I have joined the club as well. The kids are into off trail riding, nothing to crazy. I am looking forward to exploring and not worried about getting stuck as i would on my 137". I have a 1.75" lug and I feel it should be great. I had one on my Nytro and felt i could go almost anywhere.

How wide is yours? Im thinking I may swap back to a 40 but going to try the 42” for a bit.

I have no idea the width. I do know that the previous owner did something with the mounting holes of the skid to improve powder performance. I might have the changed back to a stock position. I don't know what that is or how it was done.

Are the mtx staying cool on the trails? I have ice scratches on the skid but also adding some on skis this year. Wish we would get some snow here as I’m itching to try this beast out!!

What kind of trails are you guys riding these things in? A 137 feels like a school bus on the tight trails in my area, but if it works, more power to you!

I ride a 153 btx on the trails and off every chance i get! Will never go back to a short trail sled again!
And i'm 57 years young

What do you like about the 153 compared to a shorter track sled? Thanks
