new sled project!!

There is a local guy here that has some ties to the company. I know he was thinking of buying what was left about 10 years ago and has a bunch of them. Mike Marek. I can get you in touch with him if you like.
Does he own a local trucking company?

I have kind of ran into a brick wall with this. I have the front end cleaned up, body buffed, fiberglass repaired, some painting done and rear skid gusseted. New secondary clutch and primary cleaned.
I need rear shocks and cant seem to find a catalog listing shock dimensions OR parts person with the knowledge or will to go the extra step. I have reached out on various forums, emails and phone calls. I would like to see another one or talk to someone with knowledge of where Three R industries may have sourced parts from.
I thought they may be mid 90's Cat shocks as the chain case, brakes and front suspension seem to be Cat but am having no luck matching anything up. I guess I will try Polaris and Ski- doo next.
If anyone knows anyone I would greatly appreciate it.

Great job on the restoration. I do not know the source or sizes of the shocks but will bring this to the top.

Thanks, been putting in a lot of time into getting that together this fall. It came out pretty good.
Are those Stereo Speakers or cold air intakes on either side of the seat ??
Speakers. It has a radio. I am going to upgrade the radio so I can have Bluetooth!!
I will stop in by Mike and ask him. Haven’t seen him in awhile anyway.
Thanks. I called his office a few times but am not getting a return call. Maybe the message isn't getting to him?

The seat looks awesome ! give us some details .... did you upgrade the lights to led ? When complete we need video or it ripping it up :)

My dad bought one of those new from Bob Braley in about 2000. Waited a while to get it. It was quite a disappointment! Topped out about 30mph after I adjusted the govonor, rode like a brick, was heavy steering and the cockpit was small for a larger person. It was also very heavy! That all said it was cool in its own way but was not up to the standards of other sleds of that time. His was carborated. They did make a few efi units with a little more leg room after that. He paid $8,000 for it.

This is the 2001 EFI 750cc unit. I spoke to an old dealer talking about those 2000 year models with the governed engines. That first year engine was not really designed to run the RPM Bracey wanted it too. The EFI engine is supposed to be better, we will see.
Previous owner said this will go between 45-50. I can guess the ride is a bit harsh.
The seat is actually what came in those sleds, they still make them today.
I made the windshield last Friday, I think it came out pretty good.
More pictures once the snow hits.
I go out and turn it on in the garage and play Elvis through the speakers, makes me laugh every time!!!!
