My 18 xtx with a 1.75 Back country has the 21/41 and is more than enough gear for that track. Don’t think you’ll have any issue with the stormGearing is a little above my pay grade. I’m looking at ordering a srx. But I’m working into the deal a Camso storm 150. Will that 21/41 gearing be enough to pull the track? Or will I need to gear down? And before I get the question. I don’t like the ltx le at all as far as looks.

Not studded on either sled. When I have some extra time I’m going to start a thread with my thoughts on this track. Not to get off topic but did you stud your tracks?

My Sidewinder 137 xtx le with the Backcountry 1.75 track runs out of gear at 126 mph on the trail. Yes it has a tune in it also. No studs.
Stock gearing in it. 21/41.
Under full power the skis stay in the air till I let off the throttle.
I don't see all the hype for a 1 inch track for trail riding.

If they put big primary roller, the sled gona lose "snap" down low. Maybe thats why they go 24/50 insted of 21-41 Seriously srx should be lake racer??? 21-41. Wtf.
Naw, I think you get more snap with the bigger rollers. I like it much better to be honest. With the little rollers, the weights actually hit too hard, its tougher to get traction. When you're running a tuned sled with heavy weights, your engagement gets too low with the small rollers as well.
