Got to test drive my sled for the first time last night, on a patch of road that had enough snow on it to drive on. The thing is, I'm new to 4-stroke machines, so one thing came to mind when I was driving the sled. When I reached speeds of just 40-50 km/h and would let the throttle go, like I'm used to on 2-strokes, the sled would seem to brake or atleast slow down really fast. Almost to the point where it nearly threw me off one time. Now I just did a couple of runs, but as a stopped, I came to think, since it's a 4-stroke, doesn't it have some sort of engine-break? Or is there something wrong with my sled?

LOL............Everythings just fine! Just something you get used to after a while!!

Are you serious? It's engine braking all the four stroke yamahas have it.

He said he was new to 4-strokes. Most people aren't used to their sled acting like a car. He just dropped 10k USD on it and wants to hear that everythings is normal which it is.

I about went over the bars several times while getting used to my first one, but you quickly get used to it and learn to use it to your advantage like not having to use the brake going into corners or coming off a hill.

I almost rolled mine on the first turn I made. it tokk a few tries but I am getting better on it. It does wake you up though. Some one on here was talking about adjusting the clutch so it does not break so hard.
