I'm with KA. Since they didn't change to a design that locks the bearing and shaft together, nothing has changed. Same failures will keep happening. Might take longer if shaft is harder, etc but it will still happen.

unless you can find something that is already splined inside and outside and cannabalize it, making interior splines is not easy, and definately not cheap. Not to say it cant be done, but I am guessing you will have a hard time finding a machine shop willing to do this for a handfull of parts. Of course just because i am saying this, (and it would be my luck) somebody will jump up and do it for you haha.Ok here is my idea on this.
I hope one of the shops can make this set up.
Make a splined sleeve for the brake disc to slide on existing drive shaft.
Must make a new brake disc to accept this.
Must also thread inside of driveshaft.
Torque the sleeve down against the inner race on bearing and be done.
Brake disc will still be able to float with this setup.

It would just be a new brake disc design with a tight fit on the drive axle splines.
Could even be tighten in place with BOP drive shaft wedge.
We don't have much manufacturing where I live.
I am sure it can easily be made on a milling machine. The disc and hub or sleeve.

Assuming your talking about the slides that go on the rails.. I replaced the black ones with orange, and had the full skid out on the bench.. I replaced them like I have for 30 years. Unless I missed something/ I don't see ANY changes to the skid or the rails on the 22.. I know they came off like butter and the orange went in like butter.. Nothing like working on NEW sled parts.Yep, thats what it says at bottom before image is cut. Can't see a difference on your '22?

A couple clarification points here:
-Upper Drive shaft surface change was completed at start of 2022 production.
-Track drive shaft hardness change was completed at start of 2022 production.
-Upper gear with new bushing material was a running change through production.
All of the above items are continuous improvements to the vehicle and will retrofit to older models.
Please see better screenshot in English

Is there a different part number to the shafts that have been changed?
If not how will we know if we are getting the latest greatest when replacing our worn shafts?

Be nice Jon. lol
I'm thinking the hyfax part doesn't apply to Sidewinders at all. Maybe '22 Snoscoots? Probably why it was cut from Jaret's and earlier screen shot.
