Thank you Everyone! This is the type of Info I was looking for..

I talked to Pat Hauck and I think I am going with his complete exhaust kit.. It's expensive, but good things aren't cheap...

I'll let everyone know when I get it! :)

Thanks again,

Tim
how much did pat want for that full system?

The entire System from the headers back is on sale right now for $1000.00

Here is a little update from the RX-1 Warrior!

SC10RX1.jpg

Thanks, I made up a template for the front and rear brackets... Not only does it ride better, but there is TON of weight savings with this mod.. :)

I'm going to swap the 03 RX-1 121" with a SC10II this weekend!

How in the heck do you save 30 lbs. The ZX2 is the lightest suspension ever made and its only 20 lbs unless they are off.

121":
Pro action is 73 lbs (actually measured)
Edge is 68 lbs (actually measured and almost identical in design to the SCIII)
ZX2 is 53 lbs (qouted but will be measuring when I get it)

The steel brackets are only 5-6lbs even replaced with alumn it only a few lbs savings.

Not bashing just wanting to know what I'm missing!

No bashing seen here, just good conversation, as I also want to find out where our confusion lies..

I won't be in the shop today, but tomorrow, I am going to re-weigh everything on the camera, shoot some pictures of the weight and then we'll compare to your ZX2.

There are a few different SC10's available out there and there are some big weight differences between the various SC10 models.. I know we've went over this many times on the Doo Forums.. Standard shocks VS Rebuildable ZX X package shocks etc, are a huge difference

I have a couple of these suspensions, so I will post exactly what the weights are..

I know I lost a lot of weight in the rear mounts alone..

Compared to my new ones:

The Coolest Part Of This Entire Mod Is: You can buy a nice used SC10II or SC10III for 250.00 or 300.00 max.. Then with about 20.00 worth of 6061-T6 aluminum, you'll have one of the best rides out there.
All for around $300.00 total..

OK, here's what I found..

First, 2004 RX-1 Warrior 136" suspension.

Weight: 72.6 lbs

Stock Suspension Brackets.

Weight 5.6 lbs

TOTAL STOCK WEIGHT 78.2 lbs

Second, Ski-Doo Summitt 136" REV Suspension, Non-Re-Buildable shocks.

Weight 48.5 lbs

Custom Suspension Brackets.

Weight 1 lb

TOTAL CUSTOM WEIGHT 49.5 lbs

Total Weight Saving: 29.7 lbs

Tim,
Usually with "light weight" comes the phrase " easy to break ". ( For me it does anyways.. lol )

Are these mounts just as strong as the stockers for trail abuse, ( I mean trail riding ) or are these for just racing purposes?

I wouldn't mind trying to shave a few pounds of my sleds rear. Especially when I get her burried. lol
