obr's garage

well, there was no rear bumper included with the extention as far as I remember...ony the extention...?

I'm pretty sure I'm not going to use the hitch anyway....but we'll see...

Has the Powderlites stage 2 kit arrived? Shoot me a pm with your phone number - I need to talk to about the kit - thanks!

not yet, still waiting...don't have time to put it together before I finish the RX-1 but I know when the kit is in my garage, the RX will be done PRETTY fast...

411 41 933 is my number.

Well, the powderlites kit arrived a while back, but decided to do the RX-1 mod first...

So, my bud came over today, and we started working on it...

first of all I gotta say: GODDAMNIT the driveshaft takes a good hour to get out...piece of $hit...

Other than that...it was alot of fun..took the suspension out and I'm ready to start putting the ZX2 in...The stock No-Action weighs nowhere under one metric ton, I'm sure... The ZX2 isn't the most lightweight I've felt either, but it should make the sled ride a whole lot better...

What I know was a good mod, was the Wildchild steering post relocation kit...Quality product for sure, and it does the job. Sled feels alot better and more like an Apex...

And the mountain mod seat...well..I'm not to sure I like the fit of it, so I'm probably back to Boss the next time. My two last Boss seats didn't fit TO good, but the Mountain Mod seat doesn't cover the hole in the tunnel where the stock exhaust comes out, like I thought it was supposed to... It feel really nice though, and I'll fab up some plate to fix the fir issue, no biggie...

Next is putting the engine back together, and putting the suspension in...

some pics of the mods so far...

Looking good! You probally have a short style front mod seat - that is why it is not covvering up the hole for the exhaust.

What brand are those handlebars?

I think you're right. Looking at some pics from their homepage, it seems the seat fits aftermarket tunnells with no rear exhaust hole...No problem, will just make a new tunnell extention.

The Bars/Risers, are from Fly racing. I've got the 't'-top post from Wildchild, so it mounts rigt on...I need to get another windshield though...

Haven't been wrenching them RX's a lot lately, 1 hour to remove the drive shaft is slooooowwww, hahaha just pulling your leg buddy :)

Great to see your RX's coming along nicely. When is the engine going in? I may drive over to Alta monday, are you off work? If I come over I'll pay you a visit, gotta take a look at the RX and the Powder Lites Nytro turbo kit.

LOL...

I'm here until around 20.00 on monday...Working nightsfiht from Monday evening...Drop by...would be grat to get some more pointers...The motor is still in the same shape as it was last time though.... :o|

OK - pay you a visit :)

Yes they do, but you will need the steering knuckles as well, and the Apex shocks to go with it as the shocks are mounted further away from the steering knuckle (shorter shocks) on the Apex a-arms.

Don't know, you will have to measure the total length and the stroke length of the Nytro shock and compare it to the Apex shocks.

Them Se's are nasty looking :)
