After changing the chaincase oil in mine i developed a leak/drip from the seal on the chaincase cover.
Just sitting in my garage it would drip.
I ordered some misc parts i needed and a new cover gasket.
A few days later my dealer called to inform me that it was going to be an extra week on the parts because they were waiting on the NEW chaincase gasket. He stated the old style gaskets part number was updated to a new gasket/part number and it was going to take another week to get it.
I installed the new gasket and have had no issues since.
Not saying this is your issue but it might be something to look into

I just had my cover replaced because the ears were cracked. 1000 miles. Went to do oil change my self and found them soon as I took the muffler off. Said right then and there that its going in for warranty. Never had it leak anything but what I could see is that everyone behind the muffler and on top were cracked through. I m going to switch to a belt drive if tki or c3p come out with one. Yes I'll lose reverse but I havent used reverse on any of my sleds in the last 8 years or so. Lol

Buddy of mine had a new cat last year that after 20 miles lost the oil out of the chain case......xf800 so not engine oil.
After some discussion they gave him a new sled, took it from the dealer put it in his garage and the next morning a puddle of oil under the sled.....o miles.
Went back to the dealer and checked several sleds on the floor and they ALL had the ears on the chain case cover cracked. None at the dealer were leaking but I guess if they would have been used they would have.
This was my biggest concern when buying my viper.
They gave him yet another new xf800 and so far that one is fine.

Could be a gasket or bolt torque issue.
My buddy went to another cat dealer to see if it was a common issue or just a pdi issue from his dealer.
they had different bolts in all the chain cases on the sleds they had.

They did change the chain cases from using self tapping screws to threaded. The self tappers were a joke. This was in 2014 so no Vipers got the old setup.Could be a gasket or bolt torque issue.

Mine is leaking from the air box from whati can see this far after a ride in the mountains this past week. Never had her upside down yet but also after this week the steering is way sloppy. Still have to get back to nos pro about my clutch. Having some issues with 1050 miles on it lol. Why would oil be coming from the air box?Is it coming out of the Airbox?? And have you had it on its side?? My Nytro would drip sometimes from the airbox drain.

Might have pumped some in on a downhill. Run the oil right at line or check into adapting the winder setup. Mountain guys have had these issues since first one.

Depending on which side, angle and conditions. If it was laying on it's side at some point, it can be enough to cause oil to leak out of the breather and in to the air box.

I had the airbox oil issue this past week as well. It appears as though it was burping a bit of oil up the breather a bit as cannondale mentioned but I have never had it on its side. It seems like it may have been overfilled a bit from the factory. I cleaned it up, changed the oil and made sure to only fill it half way up the dipstick (measured 30 seconds after shutdown). I have put about 100 km on since and haven't seen any oil but haven't taken it back apart. My next project will be to add the 8dn belt and see if I can get more than 8400 rpm out of it.

Had oil coming out of the air box this last weekend. ( never tipped it over just rode hard ) Took it to the dealer to make sure there was not a oil leak. They asked me if I added oil and I told them you just did the oil change last week. They told me there was to much oil . ( they did the oil change ) and then asked me if they wanted them to clean it up. Time to find a new dealer.

That has to be it. I was definitely on some terrain that week that I haven't taken it on before thanks!Might have pumped some in on a downhill. Run the oil right at line or check into adapting the winder setup. Mountain guys have had these issues since first one.
