idk whether to get a nytro or RTX. coming of a firecat 700.
i like ballsy sleds of course who doesnt.
but i'm finding a lack of info on the nytro in moguls compared to the rtx in moguls and maybe compared to how a firecat rides on both machines.
the cost difference really isnt that big of a deal. i just want hands on info on how these things ride. i'm 26 and im not concerned really with long term comfort as much as an older rider might be, i wanna be able to hammer thru the rough without the sled jumping all over and beating me to death.
give me info.

I rode the both, and this is my opinion.
The Nytro is a blast to ride!......the seating position....the gearing....are really awesome. It does not have near the motor of the RTX. I loved riding it. If I had unlimited money....I would have an SRX, RTX, and a Nytro......but i do not.
I think the Nytro would be a great ditch banger and jumping sled.....really it is all you want to do while you ride it. If you are a guy that wants to put about 60 miles in a full day...playing aroun etc. this is the sled for you.
If you go on big trips....like to open it up on the lakes and smoke your buddies while still having the confidence to line up a huge jump and beat the crap out of some huge moguls.....RTX
That is what I ordered.

The Nytro will fit your needs perfectly if you can live with topend that is a little less than an F6 as a Nytro is geared down for instant response corner/corner.

If you still want a lot of top speed on the lake and the consistent running quality of EFI, go with the RTX.
If not, go with the Nytro.
The Nytro has different gearing and clutching, so it wont have the same top speed as a Vector.
Its basically like comparing a Polaris Pro-X to an XC SP. The Nytro is a terrain racer.

but how well can the rtx take the rough. is an rtx much worse in the rough then the nytro?

Believe this or not.....I think the RTX will be better in the rough.
I beleive the Nytro suspension is great for setting up for big air. I do not think it will be as good in the stuters as the RTX and the mono.

I sat on both at haydays the nytro is easier to stand up on than the rtx and the seat is much firmer.

RTX all the way... coming off an F7 you will never be able to down size in sleds..
An Nytro will probobly top out around 90mph.. and the apex should go atleast 105-110mph..
Both sleds were designed for the rough stuff... the rougher the better..
The Flox float shocks that come on these sleds are the same shocks that are on the snowpro and they can take about any mougal or bump you can throw at them because they are air adjustable up to 150psi.

"Top oput at 90", " Top out at 80" and who told you that since not one of the production sleds has been ridden yet???
Since nobody has ridden a production sled yet take this as speculation by those of us who rode the sleds in March and BS rumours for those who did not.

Jim..
Seeing how almost all of the standard RS vector sleds that ive have read about on the RS GENERAL side, have been radared at a maximum speed of less than 99mph.(actually 98 ). i would have to say that they will top out at around 90mph because they are now geared down on the NYTRO!

I rode both and the Nytro seems to take more effort to ride in the rough than the RTX. Acceleration and top end should go to the RTX as well.
