Heres the pictures of the rings I got yesterday.
First thing I did was istall the rings into the filters so that it would stretch the filter out so they would go back on the sled easier. Then I put them rings down in table and set some wieght on filters to hold the rings from popping out(they are a tight fit).
Today afer a call to ecp to see how deep they should be mounted(down till they stop) I smeared a thin layer of the glue on the inside if the rings where they mount on carbs and put some wood over the rings(see picture) and tapped them on.
One thing to look for 3 of the rings had a pretty good transition from the stepped part up to where the filters end up sliding to and one ring had a sharp edge. The ring with the sharp edge I couldnt no matter how much I tried get the filter on all they way so since I couldnt get the ring back off(good glue) to stick in the lathe I took a dremmel and rounded the sharp lip then filter went on no problem.Im shure these rings arent easy to machine because they are so thin.

No thats all I took I have the filters back on now. What pics did you want?I could take some more.
These rings appear to be very similar to the rings that Simon CPR has available for the turbo and filter kits!?

I can't believe these things make power. They are so small. It would be nice to see some better installed pics.

Got to remeber ur flowing alot of air at 11,000 rpm Youd be surprised what just rounding a edge does at that air speed. Seen just rounding the carbs pick up CFM .

For the record, I am adding more clearance to the ID of the rings. This will assist in getting them on easier. I do this on the CNC machine as it takes telling the tool table that the end mill is actually smaller than what it really is.
