someone on here made a plate to cover up the openings behind the primary clutch. we could use some pics of what was done. im sick of blowing belts off my sled everytime i play in the powder.
gets expensive

Your blowing belts because of 2 possible reason
1..your alignment & centre to centre is off
2..your clutching is not set up for powder riding
windage plates won,t do a thing to alleviate this...will probably make it worse with more heat.

no. no not windage plates. someone on here made a plate to cover the openings behind the primary clutch. it was said that thats where the water comes from when water crossing. i can put hundreds of miles on a belt and have no issues. i carve a few turns in the powder and soon my belt comes apart. i dont ever play in real deep powder or ride in it all day long. my clutches never get hot on the trails. ever.

Apex clutching is perfect for hardpack...but totally sux for powder. It,s just a bad combination of clutching & track approach angle. I had 2 attaks & been der dun dat.
