By the way, are you sure that panel will resist gasoline? I think it may look different when it gets gasoline on it. But even if so, that looks good, you are skilled.

Im not sure if this paint will resist gas but i used what i could get for now, the sled will be displayed at a snowmobile show this saturday so i had to get something on it.

Got me some aluminum sheets and a larger perforated tube for the muffler.

Had a few Days off the build, it was a bit intense for a while because i wanted to start the Engine while i still had warranty on it and then i had a deadline for a Magazine and then the Snowmobile show....
But today i started on the muffler.
Now it will be able to Breathe a bit better i hope that this mod will make the header run a bit cooler.

Finished the Muffler and did a testrun.
I saw that the Carbonfiber was damaged due to my earlier heating issues but usead it anyways.....
it did not hold up.
The positive was that it seemed to run cooler with the larger inner tube.
Now i need to find a new outer tube, im thinking aluminum this time.

Did not have any luck finding a aluminum tube with the right dimensions in Town so i visited McXpress and got a bigger tube.
Cut it down to the right lenght.
And cut a strip out of it.
I will weld it tomorrow.
Painted the wrap with exhaust paint, im told it will hold together better then.
Filled up the gastank for the first time and saw that i had a small hole where the gas came out .....
did a experiment where i dipped the soldering iron in a jar of gas and no explosion
so i fixed it with the gas still in there.

I got a Boss seat for a Arctic M-model for free, it is damaged but i think i can make something out of it.

I have made some test rides (about 20 kilometers) and my airfilters are not flowing enough air so it chokes at full throttle.
And the riser is way to high.
we are going a snowmobile trip Friday-Saturday so im in a hurry now.

Tried the sled without the foam filters and it came alive.
Made some simple airfilters that i will try tomorrow, if they work they will be used untill the turbo goes in.
Started the mods on the seat.
