W/O a dB meter measuring and comparing - videos aren't that useful, and I say that after having spent countless hours making the muffler one. I've watched sj's video of someone making a pass with the Sandale 3", and in the video it doesn't sound any louder than the one above (at least to me). I'm thinking about getting the new Hurricane muffler to compare to the others - the idle and 2500 rpm tests are a good baseline.

Trail sled vs Trail sled. A guy like you with attention to detail is killer on the trail. It's just not fair for the average Joe.

You can swing by the lake anytime, just let me know what you want to race and what the terms are. It could be fun, I'm sure your sled goes very good.

BTW the reports I get near Prescott the races on the lake are going td both weekends so I hear.

That's customers vs customers and Dave was even there in person to help his guy.

Wasn't it a td sled that went 133mph gps in 1000 feet beating all other sidewinders there two weekends in a row. And his friend with td sidewinder also took the win. If I was there to help would be a massive advantage.

Now this only started because a pro racer is bragging about wins. We rarely brag and TD wins more often than not.

Ill say it right now powertrail isn't as fast as your 280. And it's normal because it's 270hp it can run anywhere on poor fuel and has a perfect reliability record... My max 17 at 285 beats the 280 and it too has a perfect record.

We sell performance and reliability.

And we don't have an special hardware on these sleds. No header no fancy intercooler nothing.

I was hoping the Prescott group wouldn' be brought into the forums. There was probably 10 TD local guys all running powertrail except two sleds there and 2 local 998T Hurricane sleds and a Hurricane gentleman from the US.

We had a fun day and as everyone knows with these Turbo sleds you have no idea what flash people are running. You can however smell race fuel .

I'l leave it at that.

Would appreciate it Ben and Dave if we can leave these guys in Prescott out of this mess please .

Stone88 - I just read my post and want to make sure it didn't come across disrespectful - I'm sure it sounds great and is quiet - my only point is that it's impossible to really tell anything objective from all the exhaust videos that are out w/o a dB reading showing the actual differences.
