I have change the gearing in my 07 VectorGT from 22/38 to 21/39. I expect the RPM's rise a little. I'm not sure how much? 200RPM? Before the gearing change in a drag race on low end I would rev to 8900-9000 and on top end it would go down to 8300-8400. I would like to endup with a 8500-8700 shift after the gearing change.
I thought of changing the inside hole 1 gram heavy on the main weights and using a 48/42 helix I have. I didn't want to get in to aftermarket weights if possible.
Does anyone have experience and know what I need to do? I don't have snow to test at this point in time.

I have tried a 49-41 with the stoick gearing. In 1000ftr it was about 1.5 sleds faster and 1.9mph faster on radar.
Do you think that 48-42 will still be trail usable and back shift good?
Is there any rules for 1degree = xxRPM's?

As far as the deaggrees it all depends on how the helixes are cut.Yes it will back shift good.
