Greetings all!
I am the extremely proud owner of a 2006 Vector GT (red)!
I was wondering if you can put the RX1 exhaust tips on a Vector?
They look much better than the stock Vector units.

Thanks for the reply pimpedrsrage,
I am looking to swap the tips only because I like the look better than the stock Vector tips, I think they would fit but not sure.
The RX tips would help me "Pimp" my ride!

Be pretty sweet if you could. With the money Im getting from the insurance company, I might look into doing it. Be cool if one of these guys parting out their sled would let us try to do it, if not, we will ship the parts back.

vector..u lookin to put a rx pipe on? like pull the seat and gas tank and attach rx pipe to the header pipe? or cut the tips off the end and weld some rx tips on? if ur taklin the second option..i dont believe it will work. that will be way to sharp of an angle, without major re-modification of the seat and heatshield along with all the moutning brackets.

I was just looking at tip replacement, I am new to the Yammie's and I thought these tips were removable. The tunnel and seat look the same so I figured they were a direct swap.
Thanks

You would have to swap out the whole back half of the exhaust, the plastic shroud around the exhaust tips, and the plastic shroud behind the exhaust to make it work.

they should fit... the 06 Vector Mountain SE uses the RX1 tips since it has a rear rack. i dont see why the The mountain would be different just from a rear rack. seats the same and everything
