I recived my SC4 from a 05 mach today. I am missing a few parts, track adjuster, and a couple rear axle parts.

I have measured the mach
Top of tunnel to center of front hole 4 13/16"
Top of tunnel to center of rear hole 6 1/8"
Center to center 23 1/2"
Flat of drive shaft to center of front hole 8 1/4"

I have my aluminum for the plates, I need to cut them to size and then start the install.

I know I have to measure from the bottom of the tunnel protectors on the rx.

I hope to start this weekend. Wish me luck.

Good luck with the install. Take your time and it shouldn't be too bad for you. I installed a Ski Doo Grand Touring suspension in mine this summer and hopefully it'll work out for the one up and two up riding I do. It's great that you had the doaner sled to take your measurements from. I was able to do that to, it takes the guess work out of the swap.

So I here is some updated pictures. I went a tad overboard with the rivets in the front. I think the back looks weird I need to measure just to make sure before I add the rivets. If my measurements are correct do you think I should trim the drop brackets?

Everything looks good. Your front bracket looks almost exactly like the ones I made for my swap. For the back I bolted a 1/4" steel plate to the stock Warrior bracket so I could get the rear hole in the right location without to make a whole new bracket. After you get that rear bracket trimmed you should be in good shape.

The drop bracket? It is 1/4" thick. I know rockmeister did the same change with the same thickness. I am going to add a lot more rivets than you see.

At work today I was going to clean up the rear drop bracket, but I just was not happy with them. So I made a new set From 1/4 steel.

I offet the bottom hole so I can use the 2 stock holes. The middle hole will line up with the back stock hole. Now do I paint them black or yellow? Hmmmm

Definantly do not paint them yellow. I actually started an SC4 swap on mine quite a few months ago but then discovered the skid rails were bent so I ended up getting an M10 instead. It was a nice little project but looking back on it, it was actually quite simple.

So I received all the parts I thought I needed for the SC4. Turns out I got SC3 parts. They are not the same. Well my bad for not checking better. Got all the mounts done and now i wait.

I got all the correct parts, I got everything put together. I installed it into the track and wrestled the front bolts in. After the bolts were in I noticed that I had a interference with a couple rivets. I fix them and went to work on the back bolts. They are giving me some trouble. I am going to throw it on the side tomorrow and see if I can find the problem. I measured the holes many times. I have never put in a ski doo suspension before, so there might be a trick to it.

My Grand Touring suspension is different, but I think it may be similar in how its set up. Anyways what I did was unhook the rear springs where they attach to the rails. Then that allowed the upper arm to rotate and align the holes. Just because the holes don't line up doesn't mean you got the measurements wrong. A lot of times the suspension has to be compressed a little to get it to go in. Good luck.

So...... I do not know how to measure. Front hole should be 8.25 from the flat of the drive shaft, I drilled it 9.5" . I do not know how I did it. Well i am mad so I am going out tomorrow to fix it.
