That sucks man. Now your going to have two hole close to each other. It should still work out for you though. There's always some set backs when doing custom work. It'll all be worth the trouble with the improved ride.

This is how much I mis-measured.
Got all the holes redone and ......
Done
I know I am missing a Wheel. It is sitting on my bench.
I want to thank everyone who did this mod before me and posted all there info here. It gave me the courage to try this change.
NOw I hope it rides better than the No-Action. Come on snow. But I have another 4 to 5 hours of work to do mostlly clean up

Got it all done. I ran it around the yard. Wow it transfers. I am going to bring the limiter straps in 1 hole and move the coupler blocks to 4. Now how do I move the coupler blocks on a sc3,4?

I have only been able to run around the yard on mine also cause there is nothing open in my area yet. I have my blocks set at full transfer (thick side forward) and 2 holes showing on my straps with my front shock at the middle notch to start. blocks only turn so far and they stop they dont spin all the way around. There is a tool with two prongs on it like a grinder key for turning it( i had to get a friend to adjust for now). i will be following the thread for updates and suggestions on set up for this and will post my adjustments. I am pretty new to skid set up so im learning on the fly with this skidGot it all done. I ran it around the yard. Wow it transfers. I used a pair of channel locks. I moved the limiter strap in 1 hole. I need to look how many holes are showing. I also moved to blocks to big side back. re-road and it was very nice. Good hook and stuff will see on the trail tomorrow .

I rode 160 miles yesterday. wow what a difference. I started out to stiff. coupler block on 4, big spring on 4. I lowered everything 1 setting and All i can say is wow. It ate up the bumps. I am going to increase the preload on the front spring 1 for the next ride. The only thing is is I am having a problem keeping the track tight. I am going to take the adjusters out and add a lock nut on. I was pulling the skis off the ground. I never did that before on the rx-1

Still waiting on snow and it was +2 and raining a bit today so that wont help. Took a quick rip fri night it was -25 but low snow conditions but it hooked up way better. Block at 3rd position, front shock at max preload (im 240) 2 holes left on my straps. I dont have more then 10km this season though so time will tell.

So rode again this weekend. got some real bumps, and i think i am set a bit soft on the front shock. I got beat up a bit, still hung with a crossfire 700, but I want it to be better. I did not get change the setting, from last ride. I also have a lot of inside ski lift. I am pondering pulling in the strap 1 more hole( I am also at 2 holes showing, but if you look at the straps when the suspension is on the ground they are loose). I am also going to do something about my ski. I added the Berstrom's ski savers, witch makes the keel bigger. I am going to remove it and maybe it will not grap as much. I do not know when I will get out again. I hope we get some snow and I can go on the lake and the fields.
