Second Annual McCall, Idaho ride????

Spray, The thumb was just a stooopid move on my part. I was buried on a hill and two other guys were helping me yank it around. I had one hand on the trailing arm and reached around with the other to grab a radius rod. When I did that, my thumb was between two coils of the shock spring. Funny thing happens when somebody yanks on the ski loop, it actually compresses the shock and the shock body doesn't leave much room between it and the coil. Who would have guessed. :o| When I took off my glove the end of my thumb was kind of just hanging there. Ended up having to drive to Livingston, Montana to the ER as there are no medical services in Cooke. 8 stitches and a broken bone later, I know not to do that again. Spray, I already have a gold finger lefty on the Max, so I'm set there. :D

LB, I'm not sure what the best route for me to take is. Either 94/90 west through Billings, or 80 west to Salt lake. If I were to go 80, SRXRules lives just north of Des Moines, he may know where a guy could leave a truck. If you had planned on going to Convert's place, I'm about 30 min. north of him. Gramps cabin is not an option. It's way north of here.

Dung Beetle (aka KMER) just informed me he is not coming. His mommy is afraid he might hurt himself if he has to ride with men.

There are others, but RX Fun and I will be more than you can handle as it is. Just try and keep up flatlander!!

LB you are more than welcome to leave your Yugo at my place ;)! Not sure which way you are coming but I'll bet if you post on the general thread someone in Iowa would let you park also if your not planning on coming this far north.

Gramps is everything working out ok with your operation? :moon:

Yeah they finally got that duplicate of my a$$ mounted on my shoulders I'm looking more and more like you everyday LOL

I assume your taking LB to Council mountain on his first day wink wink!

We're still coming over. I won't be 100% though. The wife's RMK got the upper hand on me in the parking lot alittle more than two weeks ago and tweaked my right shoulder ( I was out of my natural element ;)! ) .

Heading to Cooke City this weekend to try it out; right now it hurts to apply downward pressure with my right arm. Hoping to be at about 75% by Mid Feb. I haven't gone to the doc to see what the damge is ( waiting 'til the season is confirmed as shot) :drink: .

BlgsRX-1mtn, it was pretty tough going in Cooke last weekend. It looked more like Minnesota conditions.

You've been riding an RX for 3 years no prob, and get a heavy pol900 and get hurt 1st year.

lol j/k
