secondary spring????????????????

headed to the snowies Feb 23
broke the white spring I ran the last 2 years in the mountains ran @ 90" twist
was wondering what I should should buy

Excell Vector header under tunnel w/Micron silencer
stk oe weights empty, oe helix
yamaha white

My setup is not far off your listed setup. Same lug height, gearing, weights and helix, similar exhaust setup, but more rivets in weights (run very close to sea level). The Arctic Cat green secondary spring (at lowest possible preload setting) works for me. More axial preload = better back shift at very low speed. Clear improvement compared to the OEM secondary spring if you do a lot of tight riding between trees.

not a big climber, more trees, short climbs and meadows, will be installing a cat skid before I go

I was not aware there are two different ones. I tend to believe it is the softer one just because it feels softer (but also much longer) than the OEM spring, but I will check with my dealer to be sure.

just never heard of anyone using the GREEN spring
thought the YELLOW was the cat spring of choice?
local cat dealer has on so I think I will get a yellow??
