I am about 6'1, 238 with no gear. I set the spring to the stiffest setting on the cam and measured it from end to end (the entire spring) and it was 13.125 inches. I let it down, got on and bounced around a bit, sat down and had my buddy re-measured it and it was 11.750 inches. The difference was a little over 35mm so I figure with gear on I should be just over 40mm. So I guess the stock spring on the ER being rated for up to 250 lbs is pretty close.

BTW, my Apex is red and I went with the red round backers. It looks pretty cool. I'll snap a few picks tomorrow if anyone is curious about the color. Its not an exact match but its close enough.

Thanks mxd glad you are liking it,ya my plastic backers are coming in black, but my attak is red and i was wondering how red backers would look, pics would be nice, and i am around 220 dry and 240 wet and tonight i rotated my spring to the next to last step of preload and ran around the field doing laps in 10" of lose snow and it rolls up alittle in the turns but i have 10" of 60 degrees of CBs carbide and no studs yet,now that it bites hard in the corners i can adjust the skid some..
