Hi Guys WOW this thing is a Weapon!!!
I've always had the Big Power sleds Clutched but never boosted, but this thing is Fun as hell NOT for amateur riders I have 3 kids and have always said here to it out and try it NOT with this I know the outcome it would be the 2nd Sidewinder crashed. One thing though has me puzzled I stopped at a friend's place today had my daughter with me she was driving my 15 Viper didn't think I was talking long Maybe 3-4 and the sidewinder shut off by it self the Viper kept running and I heard fan running but Not on the Sidewinder just shut down Any ideas?

Great review!
Did the SW start up again right away?

mine did it too as was getting my trailer ready to load it up saturday. it was idling for just a couple minutes. started right up, put it on trailer, temp said 220 but dropped right down.

Yes same as done doin reported started right back up but temp to end of gauge heard no fan come on in that 2-3 mins my Viper sat there purring and could clearly hear fan running.
There is no fan on the SW that's why you didn't hear it running. Where the rad is on the viper is replaced with the intercooler of the boosted engine. Shut down was just normal safeties kicking in.

Awesome to know Ty just strange how quick it shut down gonna check all fluids today make sure all is good.

Here's a question what's gonna happen when your cooking down the lake with minimal snow conditions is this sled gonna just shut down? Got me wondering....

On the japan built 4 strokes the ECU shuts the sled down if it gets hot and the TPS sensor senses no throttle movement for a certain duration. Beings the winder has Japan brains running it I'd guess it has the same feature built in.

It will do it on Viper also. Watch the guages and look for loose snow or use scratchers. No radiator or fan will take some getting used to at times but it's all good.

Ok, I didn't try.....can we toggle our gauge cluster to get actual values. Mine just shows bars.

If I'm not mistaken I think you have to push both buttons on the temp side and it will change to a number reading and switch it to miles.

I'll try. I didn't know if the function was there.
