I have a cut down black Viper windshield since Yamaha has cancelled my windshield order from end of October. Sorry, no pics on my phone, but I do know @boostednytro has a couple.

Where did you buy that windshield from,is it from Yamaha or Powdermad? I have to buy that one

i need a tall one like was supposed to come on the sled. had two neck fusions, don't like fighting the wind all day. any one find one please post where. the mid height is below shoulder level.

Hi brother,i guess Yamaha called back the tall ones,for fear of them bending backwards at top speed and tearing out parts of the pod.

I got mine, its the powermadd tall.

It fit like #*$&@, i did some googling, and low and behold, there shop is 30 minutes south of me, i packed up my hood, and both windshields, and go for a drive. I ended up talking with Paul (VP) and he was baffled at how shitty it fit. We trimmed and egged out the holes to make it work. He asked if he could use my hood for the laser measurements in the spring and in return, he will give me a new windshield that fits and hook my up with a free set of hand guards.
I will get pics with it on Tuesday.

oh, thanks beast. i knew there was some reason. i had a harley years ago that i would fold the windshield over and tuck down to get a little extra top end. '71 flh. well i found my chin vent open when i got back last night and i think that was part of it.

Has anyone tried the orange mid height Cat windshield says it's 9.5 inchers high same as the orange low which states 9.5 but the mid height has flares on the side says it fits 2017 Thundercats wondering if the mid will fit the Sidewinder I see where a member installed the low orange one from Cat. Can't believe there's nothing yet from yamaha.

I have the cat mid on mine. Have lived with it for 5 yrs now on cat 800 and 1100. Gives much better protection than stupid low one from yamaha but will still give you wind blast at your helmet.

I put this one on mine and rode yesterday and it is surprisingly warm and looks great.I just trimmed the tabs off so it blocks some wind.

Where did you get that windshield? Purchased a sw ltx le and want a taller windshield, mid height from yamaha is ugly.
