The one thing I'm really hating about my Winder is the roll over valve bull #*$&@! I think that is one issue that a few guys have experienced and the rest of us are scrambling to avoid.Wrong joe! 850 has the durability of any 4 stroke. Go ahead, just ask them!

I think most are over thinking that. I dare say all the “mods” have a dramatically higher failure rate than just running it with the stock Plumbing but I’m no expert. The one thing I'm really hating about my Winder is the roll over valve bull #*$&@! What's wrong with garbage trucksI don't get it! Why are so many guys going 4 stroke? Don't they know they are heavy pigs that can't get out of their own way? They handle like garbage trucks and beat the heck out of you over rough trails.
???
Yeah....60 freakin degrees here so I'm beating the snot out of it as this is it for a while. I did take off my rollover valve (to clean it)..a little film of oil, and I'd guess pretty low pressure to open it. I can blw in it and it will open. There is some pressure in the tank running...but nothing much in the intake tube. (Excellent ) Dealer told me leave it alone. So I will. So far sleds been perfect except for initial handling and skis.Understood....right now all I worry about, night & day is.....the warmer temps coming in. It's got me sick to my stomach.

50°....we are losing a foot of snow every day. It's sad. 50° & rain will finish off this month, if not the season.

So your dealer said to leave the roll over valve on your sled and not worry about it.

Emphatically. And it's Excell Motorsports. Had them service it, check everything, and chain case oil change too, as they know their stuff, imo. Sled got a clean bI'll of health. No loose hoses, clamps, turbo bolts, suspension bolts...etc. I'm just gonna have fun and run it and if something should happen, oh well...I've had catastrophic Mach z engine failures in the past....and blew the engine in a brand new rx1 after hitting a buried log and taking out the sump cover, so....too old to worry anymore! LOLSo your dealer said to leave the roll over valve on your sled and not worry about it.

Thanks. I am glad. It rides well, takes bumps great, goes slow if you want, goes like hell if you want...is quiet...decent mileage...looks sharp (especially near a Pug (nose) Doo)...But I occasionally have chunks of snow hitting me...not sure if it's from the skis, going around a corner..sometimes they fly up and kind of hover...lmao! A real mystery, or I gone insane.. I'm thinking it's the exposed top of the track turning forward throwing pieces ahead....since they pass me sometimes!Snowmobiling = no guarantee of fun!
