I have these on mine along with the barkbuster front end. I put the spindles in the front hole on the ski bracket. I have noticed the front of the runners are wearing considerably more than the rear.
Should I have the spindles mounted in the rear hole on the skis>??

On my '03 RX1, I only have 1 mount hole in my brackets.
Measuerd from rear top lip of ski to center of bolt is about 16 1/2". and works fine.
Hope this helps

Im talking about the holes on the skis. Do you only have one mounting hole on the gen 2 brackets?

I only have one set of mounting holes, so, I guess if you use the previous numbers I mentioned as far as where the center of the bolt on the strut mounts to and meausure to the back of the ski, would be where my bracket and ski is positioned.

I put mine in the rear hole, no instructions as to which hole to use with mine.

One thing I see guys doing is to trim the rear outside edge of the skis off, say from just behind the spindle and back, and about 2 good inches off the side. It makes it easier to sidehill in deeper, heavier snow, yet maintains the float ability. I have seen some pics and will try and find some.
