Have any mountain riders had the opportunity to use both the Simmons and SLP Powder Pros on their rx1m? How do they compare and differ (in your opinion  ) on the trail and in the steep & deep. For people that have only used one brand, let's hear your opinion also.

I have only tried the powder pros. The first day I rode with them was awsome they handled the groomed trail great and the docking/sidehilling/and hill climbing was excellant. It was the first day I came home after a day of riding and wasn't tired from muscleing the sled around. I really noticed the difference because I put them on my wifes 600 the next day so she could try them and I never got them back. She rides and follows (or leads) right with the group. She was sidehilling everywherewith ease.

I have the PP's but have not used them yet. To me they felt a lot lighter. If you go with the simmons talk to BBY, he will set you up right.
Don't beleive anything Pinball Wizard says!! Those skis must have tree magnets in them cause when I rode with him he kept hitting trees!! JK.
I have the simmons and LOVE them. I had them on my Mountain Max and switched them to the RX. They hold a side hill real well, improve float, and all but eliminate trail darting.

Ouch!! So thats where the name came from. If I remember right the biggest problem I had was looking over my shoulder to see if (everyone) behind me was still following me. Point and shoot work all yhe time.
