Looks like a nice setup. I wonder how it runs....I looked at the GSX 800 before I bought my RX-1 and it just did not compare. This could be a potential comparison but I dont think I will ever go back to a 2 stroke even if it is SDI......

It looks like a very nice sled. But I will wait for what Yamaha brings to the table this year, Sorry to say the whole 4 stroke thing spoiled me. Gas milliage, oil consumption That sled probable gets around 10 mpg. My sleds fast enough to kill me don't ne more hp on the trails then I allready have. just my 2 cents

The one thing I hate about my REV is the engine vibration. It aint no triple and It surly aint no yamy, but boy does it ride nice.
I can just see that 1000cc twin shaking now.

one more comment, the SDI is ok. The yamy 4stroke I truly miss. The doo gets good milage and is a strong performer in its class. You still stink of 2 cycle oil and I have used about 3 1/2 gal of oil in 1000 mi. The 4 stroke weighs a little more, but I'll take that weight.
I'm praying for a Yamy RxREV

I'm with ESKIMO. I'll wait and sit tight to see if Yamaha will Reign Supreme with the RS's. We won't be waiting too much longer either.

Looks like an awesome sled, but that thing is definitely photoshopped. I do think you'll see it, but that pic is a fake. Take a look at the front shock and how it's bent in the a-arm. If you blow it up to a bigger pic you can see it actually runs out the front of the a-arm & isn't attached! Cool sleds, but after all the problems with rings & crank bearings, I'd be leary. Just my .02

Akiberc nice spy shot's look's pretty tempting ,but like I said before the more power that these 2-strokes produce the more money it will cost to run and maintain them ie;(high octane gas,and synthetic oil and we all know those two item's aren't cheap over the season. Thank's for the 411.

It's 2stroke - no way I'm buying one. A twin 1000, I'm shaking.... I will never go down on strokes. No matter what they come up with you will stink after riding that machine.
