Speedo not accurate

Pulled my chain case a part last season, and since then my speed is off about 40-45 mph. I did remove the little magnet to clean them, I though I did put them back the same way. Would that cause the speed to be off? If so, how to tell how to put them the right way?

Pretty sure that is your issue. I believe they are alternated plus and minus on the outside edge.
