I have changed my drivers on sled from 8 to 9 tooth. Look up the parts, all parts are the same except for the speedo head. don't want to buy a differnt head. Reread Snowtech from March 04 page 23. It talked about taking out 2 teeth of the gear on the end of the shaft. Wonder if anybody has tried this?. If not I will give it a try later this year.

The stock setup is off by a quite a bit as far as the MPH is concerned but the odo is on with all the other sled's i ride with. I first took two teeth off and then it read slow, went to one tooth and now am with in two to three MPH of radar at 100 but odo now read,s short. You can adjust some by this method but start with one tooth and go frome there. Hope this help's. kviper
a smaller driver will give you less actual speed than the speedo shows, so 1-2 teeth will get you close. jeff

speedo
i cut one tooth off the speedo gear and found that the speeds read a little high still. but when i install 10 tooth drivers i had to put a stk gear back in and it was mutch closer. just about right on with my radar gun
