Star Suspension kit for XTX skid

Ordered my kit today. I am hoping with the kit and Split Rails it will be as awesome as they say it is. I love my Nytro but anything I can do to make it better is more control for me. Shane

I'm curious to know their shipping timeframe, it appears they're going to be getting a few extra orders this year. Hopefully with some rave reviews.

Awesome! Very curious about this set up, being a 280lb rider.

Just talked to them today and I'm in...time to pull the skid, again.

put mine in over weekend. no need to drop skid.

Shocks have to come out and need to grease and check slides...did you drill the holes with the skid in?

I put mine in last weekend and its pretty straight forward. You can really feel the difference in the skid. It sits at th top of the stroke now instead of 3 or 4 inches into it and gets much stiffer as you compress it. I cant wait to ride it. Shane.
P.S. I left my skid in.

less is more, why disturb the mounts? only holes to drill were easy, aftre mounting plates, chase a hole on both rails.

Did you send both back shocks in for the sleeve and revalve?

Anyone know these guys that build this?? It would be great to get them on TY to support their product and answer some questions.

agreed, puting a kit on a family members apex, he says what the guys says on the phone makes a lot of sense on how the kit works... i guess well see :rocks:

I have been speaking with Robert this past week.

I just mailed my rear XTX rear shock to him for his re-valve and sleeve reinforcement. He offered his shipping (you call his courier)..it was a pretty good deal (under 20 bucks) but I just mailed him my shock Canada Post for 20 bucks.

He will be shipping me back the XTX kit and my reworked shock.

IMO he is a very easy and knowledgeable guy to deal with so far, I figure he will call me again once he receives my shock.

Here is an excerpt from one of our emails for everyone interested in getting this kit.

He said for my weight (220 with gear) the stock springs are fine with the kit.

I cant wait! :jump:
