My buddy and I both put one of the first Storm 150 on in 2018 on our non tuned Sidewinders. His tore the lugs off in 1st season. Mine lasted 1 1/2 seasons. Maybe they changed how they made the first batches, but they didn't stand behind them at all. I would not recommend this track for the sidewinder. Not happy with this track. Put another one on a stock 18 apex before our recent trip north and I spotted some lugs missing already.
The problem is that the lugs fly off at high speeds.

Yeah, so strange how some are having bad luck with lugs coming off. I've had my ice storm on for 3 full seasons now and it looks great. I don't know how many are running the ice storm 150 vs. the regular storm 150 and whether or not that is having any different result for people or not. I guess I am a fortunate one to have good luck with mine. I really love this track though and the way it hooks up, especially for not being studded.

Any noise issue? There was mentioned about lost of top end but presume this lost is at very top end on a lake and not high speed trail ridding?

Install strom 150 on my 2018 ltx dx, tracks started to show signed of wear and tear after 4000 miles, center lugs are all torned after two season 8000 miles, good traction but center lugs are taken all the abuse, stay away from this track.

I put on the Storm 150 two ply track at the beginning of this season with 144 studs down the middle. 2000 miles on it with tune.
Track still looks brand new except for having bent studs...
The track itself with the shorter lugs on the side will give you inside ski lift due to the track design. By adjusting suspension and going to the front end hygear twisted springs the sled corners flat now.
Don't know if it was the studs in the center that made it feel this way or the lug design.
With the snow we had this winter I am sure glad I had studs.

How many miles do you expect to get out of a track?

Good question, i did 6000 miles on the original track ( ripsaw 1.25) not a single dent, I was expecting the same with the storm150 but I was wrong. How many miles do you expect to get out of a track?

My 2012 Cat XF1100T, tuned up slightly, with a single ply Cobra and 141 studs went 11,000 miles and still looked good. The clips were starting to show some wear. Common sense dictates when to LAY THE POWER DOWN. YMMV.How many miles do you expect to get out of a track?

Exactly... tracks that reach those kinds of miles dont last that much longer with big power.
