Today I went to my local yamaha dealer and saw they had a sidewinder ltx dx 137 with the 3 front engine panels off. I thought it was a great idea to get a good look at the meat and potatos of the new turbo sled. They showed me how very simple it is to take off. Great enginering on yamahas part. Really like the red and black paint scheme. The website pics do not do it justice. Much nicer than the other ones in my opinion.

2019 sidewinder xtx le, sleeping for now
The biggest downgrade from the le and se is the shock package and if you ride mostly groomed trails, there's nothing wrong with the coil overs.

I bought the LTX DX in the black and red and totally agree it looks so much better in person. Hope I can keep black painted tunnel looking good.

Painted tunnel held up well on my 2014 xf9000. I would never go back to buying aluminum unpainted again.

Paint held up really good. Nothing really noticeable in 3 yrs. little scuffs and such but nothing major.

They have a mechanic there named Danny that is the best you will find anywhere. I find that is what makes or breaks good service. How are they for service? We do most of our riding up there and would like a good Yamaha dealer to go to.
