Buddy has a 19 t cat, tuned. Helping make sure it is dialed in, any idea what offset should be.
Thanks Tom

Dont know offset measurement but Cat makes a bar especially for this. Just make sure you use the correct plug on the primary clutch for your year/application. Its a great tool for the toolbox .

As of now it is team, but his is cracked!I assume it's Team clutches?

Getting an adapt from thunder products, in a couple days.
I was hoping there was a measurement like the sidewinders so we could mark that off our to do list!
Is it safe to assume the cat clutches are good to go for offset?

Correction needed, should be 66mm and 2.60" i forgot to subtract the thickness of my straight edge, getting older isnt all its cracked up to be...lolBased off my team set up here are my numbers, 69mm or 2.716" if you are going team get this set correct then you can make a clutch alignment bar like i did.

There is no alignment bar or published offset spec for the adapt primary. Per the cat manual you lift rear of sled and spin track and let coast to a stop. Shut off engine and apply park brake. Start sled and if belt does not squeal alignment is good. If there is a squeal you add or subract shims between sheaves of secondary clutch to eliminate squeal. When this is done correctly there should be about .010 between belt and fixed sheave of primary. As of now it is team, but his is cracked!

I believe the offset should be 62.5. Mine was off until I fixed the stub shaft. I originally measured at 66mm and my clutches were hot. After the stub shaft fix, I got it to 63 and no more heat and no more dust. Stock clutches on my 2020tcat

The issue with the factory bar from Cat is its useless if your running a 911 cover from thunder. Ask me how I know.. The 2021 with the team idler bearing on primary. I thought it was suppose to be 1.53" ??? And where are you suppose to measure this? I thought it was 1.53" from outer sheave of secondary to inner sheave of primary???

I have wondered same. 1.530 is embossed on red plug but where does that come from? It's way more than 1.530 from even outer edge of center roller bearing to outer plane of secondary

Yea my set up is slightly off on my 2021.. Its the wife ride so I don't get to crazy.. It doesn't burn belts and runs cool.. But Im confused about the offset on these sleds.. Why not just give us a measurement from A to B?? The 1.53" means what?? LOL

Couldnt you just install factory cover and use cat alignment tool then reinstall 911 cover. The cover wont change the distance from fixed sheave on primary to outside sheave on secondary. If your aligned this way it seems to me youll still be aligned good when you swap covers. The cover only allows you to get moveable sheave closer to belt. The issue with the factory bar from Cat is its useless if your running a 911 cover from thunder. Ask me how I know..
