Very good info ,i have hurricane ss tunes ,tapp and stm with button cover instead of roller ,only diff . is i have 9000 2017 cat .
 
Have tapp black spring, number 2 rollers, set on a on cam, 3 on clickers, 52\44 with purple in centre hole on stm ,xs825 , pulls 8900 0n 285 stock muffler tune ,happy with set up

Wow. Surprised you can pull RPM with that set up. More to consider.....
 
steeper angle, spring pressure balance, not pressuring a flat angle causing super squeeze on belt .
 
Where does the dalton B/O fall in that line up of springs. Also the stock yellow. Just wondering

Remember this is a button cover
Can pull probably 4 degrees more than roller or so
Still 40 finish with roller
I liked 38 to 40
That makes a little more sense
 
Thinking dalton ,come from Hurricane

EPI purple secondary spring comes from Erlandson Performance.
It is NOT a Dalton spring. Dalton has a Cat white which is the exact spring as a Cat green, both of which is a bit more pressure than the EPI purple.
