TD header, tune & afpr question

Pic is clutch side front of fuel tank. It is pinned against the aluminum support, yet I need another half inch to drop the tank on. What gives?!?!

Just wanted to reach out and give everyone a big thank you.
All the knowledge you share helped Ensure another well done project.
Especially all the little things.... TY

Here is what happens from direct heat from header when running hard.

Tim, your comment got my attention. I've got a nice piece of insulated aluminum blocking that area. I take all the additional heat shielding very serious.
I'll be keeping an eyeball on everything. Especially after I give her a good pounding.

I will have to check mine too!
Any pics of what you did to eliminate this issue ?
Took a piece of old mid pipe heat shield and applied red silicone to it and put over that area attaching to mid pipe heat shield.
Have been watching to see how it holds up.
So far so good.
Still would like a "SR Viper" style heat shield to fit over header.
I really like the design of the air flow under heat shield and out the openings in the top of tunnel to get rid of the hot air.

Tech Question
Key on fuel pressure is 47. As soon as she's running fuel pressure drops to 44/45. Is that correct?
Warm idle AFR is 12.8+/-
Sound wise, sleds no louder with header. Not complaining at all
Talked to Mike over at TD
EcoTrail 265hp
PowerTrail 285hp
Max 17 305hp (91 Oct)
Max 20 315hp
Just need to add a couple grams of clutch weight and let her eat.

I have the same tunes on my 18 Thundercat. I love it! Casual trail riding I run the 285 setting. If I'm feeling frisky I run the 305. The 305 has much quicker throttle response.

yes there is vacuum at idle so fuel pressure will drop a bit from "Key on". Vacuum pulls fuel pressure down... boost raises it.

Same plan here. I'm going to dial in the clutching at 305.
Do you happen to know which one gets the best MPG while trail cruising?

Yes, that makes sense. Thank you for the explanation.

Although opinions vary when choosing tunes, I'll share my opinion:

I don't bother switching tunes, as I've learned it's a waste of time and it requires constantly changing the setup.

I would set tune to Max 20 and leave it there. Gear for Max 20, clutch for Max 20, set FPR for Max 20, and when someone pulls up alongside.......the sled will be ready.

If you get stuck with lower octane fuel and want to downgrade to Power trail, I hold it half throttle.......Lol
