TD max16 tune hits 20.5 lbs on hard accell is this normal

That's the problem. With too much information.

The stock turbo can't make 20 psi with the stock WG setup on a stock muffler. That is just a spike in the reading. It will not sustain 20 psi.
Max spool 16sm is a great tune enjoy.

As for the max spool 17 and 20 yes they will spoke which is normal and intended. Gives the snappy feeling. No problem enjoy.

This is what he sent me doesn’t come on these forums so I thought I would ask a few questions. He’s very happy with the performance but yes maybe worries too much, these motors aren’t cheap lol

Ben I posted this for my max 16 modified stock muffler,the muffler is not stock! My muffler is straight thru 3" except for the very bottom 2" inches of pipe is arouns 2.25 inch dia. only. One other question while you may be peeking at this message,we are now seeing a trend of fuel in our area of 91 and 93 octane that stores had,being changed over to none ethanol 90 and there claim is same octane,just because it has no ethanol,i don't buy into that theory do you? Can I run it WO on max 16 with my muffler w/out risk? Thank you
