Thunder Products is selling reverse angle 33/35 degree helix's that not only are clearanced out for the secondary coil bind, but will make the sled rev quicker, improves 60 foot times and would be a great helix for off-trail or very quick corner to corner trail riding.

On hard-pack the helix allows the engine to rev instantly giving you one hell of a holeshot!

Im hoping to have mine here today .Headed to maine next week to see what it does .This summer my sw will get a wake up .Only 1470 0n the sw now and 3k on the 850 .Another 1k+ next week

This sounds like the ticket for the secondary. Great stuff!

If you can hook up? Won't that hurt fuel economy a bit?

Lucky sob! Have fun and post your findings.

I like to hear this. Really would love to cure the sluggish bottom end feel.

I would hope others are also working on a higher side rate torsion spring as well, Dale is testing some new ones but it looks like we may not have one from him til next season.

Im more concerned with the primary issues that seem to be cropping up now with some miles, Since it was a poor season for hi mile riders this does worry me that Yam will do NOTHING on the 18s, and I will inherit all the same issues as 17s. So darn ironic that Cat seems to have their clutches all good now, and now its YAM that is chasing their tail.

Tcats seem to be abound too, cheap!

I'm hoping this cures the slow "feel" of the sled. Hit the gas and you expect it to fly, but your left waiting for the power. Then you look down at the speedo and yeah, I guess I am going fast. Needs more fast "feel".

I just got off the phone with Lonn and mine is on the way.

I don't think it's humanly possible to talk to him for anything under 20 minutes.

It's always time well spent when you're talking to someone who will forget more than you'll ever know. ;)!

I'll be trying it out next week in the U.P.

Yup. He's a great guy. It's good to have someone who actually will spend time talking to you and explaining things (vs the guy who wants to just sell you something and seems in a hurry to get off the phone.) His wife is also cordial and seems to have a good understanding of products as well.

What will that do to the top end speed ?

Ordered mine late monday ,it got here today and is now in my sled .On the jack stand it does seem to help the motor spool up faster .:sled1:

It's the same finish angle as a stk.one .The tsk-791 tp helix will help the motor rev ,stk=35 .tsk-791=33/35 .

I still think you need a spring with it but will wait and see.!!
