Watched the show tonight, with the 2 mustangs. That Janice Grant is pretty good looking! Starting to imagine it is you guys. Would be so great to see Tom on camera, and Allen and a bunch of the other guys.

Terry, how do you like Rich, the creator/star of the show?

I think Rich has a strong, Git 'er done! attitude, which puts on a good show. I have talked with Rich on many occasions, and can say that he is truely a decent person on the phone. He is a snowmobiler himself, and couldn't fathom the great publicity snowmobiling will get from putting drag sleds on the show. I have asked Rich to come sledding by us sometime, and he said he will do it depending on his busy schedule.

Why not hold a PINKS, snowmobile edition then, where the contestants race in their element, on a frozen pond somewhere?

Admittedly, I have to change my first impression of the show - I'm hooked.

You can't really blame Rich, or his show. He puts a carrot out there and it's the racers who try to eat it, knowing full-well the consequences. The amount of money that advertising costs, may well be worth a car, truck, sled, bike, etc... to get your name out there too.

But man, are there some jerks that show-up and cherry pick though. And I empathize with the losers.

The general consensus is: It's O.K. we'll build another one.

Joking around for the money going to TY or SledDogs turbo, but OK point taken. Let me point out that the concerns you are voicing in your post are really the very same ones that TY management had.

This from the PINKS faq video.

The machines are signed over to Rich, he owns them before they run!
He was handing over the losers title to the winner.

By law, Pinks can not control what the winner does with that property.
Unless state and federal legislators puts laws in the books about how people can spend their money or ebay proceeds, or what they can or cant do with their property, Pinks will NEVER be able to control this.

I think Pinks got some bad publicity from guys handing back titles so that is why the losers machine has to now go on ebay. But these guys are or soon will be under contract, which could include a statement that they will not publically talk about what they do with their winnings.

Terry, Tyler.......help me out here, correct any info I got wrong. The above is just the way I understand the show

LMAO. Some just dont know when someone is joking or not. I still really really need a turbo on my sled so the charity for that is still open. Seriously now more people need to step up and help these guys out opinions are opinions but dollars is what they could use more than anything else right now.

Tork is right, as the TV show must have had some negative feedback, and now, just like the Tosto brothers, have to put the loser's ride on Ebay, to show that the show is real. I have some questions for Rich, and will be calling him tomorrow, as what would happen on a rain out, can the reserve be put at a high amount, who pays to have the sled put on ebay, and last, does an IHRA liscense work at an NHRA track? Huge range of emotions, Tork, you couldn't have put it in a better perspective.......churning, turning, anxiuos, but worried, etc....
