"The Pinks TV Show thread" TYers are Racing!

I dont have the time or Money to go there, sorry guys. I have so many other things going on right now with the site, my real job and family that its just going to work for me.

Understandable, health issues with my mom and sister prolly keep me away too.
But I will PM Bluedog and Blown Apex, it is not as far for these Missouri guys and cheap airfares too.

I wonder if Yamaha has a sales rep in the Dallas area.
Would be cool if Jim Drummand was there
I think I have his email, I will email him the thread links.

I have room for Sara.............(bunny)

She said fine as she better have her own bed........

Hey Brian, (4Fighter) Thanks for the contribution for me to get to "PINKS"

Talked to Rich on the phone for almost 35 minutes last night, and he said they just taped an episode in Topeka, and they had 7,000 people there to see the show! I asked for extra security, which Rich called Texas Motorplex, and had me on 3 way calling with 1 of the office people. Rich told her we were coming, and Rich asked me to tell her what we raced, and she responded, "Oh My God!" They just had the nationals there this past weekend, and people were asking when "PINKS" was coming back to Texas. This is going to be huge, and I asked for extra security, and the track to be well prepped. To those who have sent in an aplication to be on "PINKS", Rich has your application, and should be getting a hold of you guys in the near future. I posted this, because I know other websites are watching this topic. Tyler, Rich should be calling you soon. He needs specific details from you, about you, and the sled you are going to be running for the show. Rich also told me to make shure there are no breakdowns, as the Topeka show had a car worth a lot of money, almost get taken because of a leaking dipstick! They were able to finish the show with rags and zip-ties. My sled is back together after breaking the drive axle, and will be running this weekend.

That's scary, broken drive axle.......that's an example of an unforseen (sp?) catastrofic failure... resulting in loosing your ride. Damn, good thing it happened now and not then.

Yes, glad it happened at the home track, and in the pits, not out on the track at full throttle.....

Sorry for the late reply, as I was in Michigan racing the 2006 World IHRA Bracket Finals.

Saturday was raining off and on all day, so DaJudge, buddah2, and myself went to visit MicroBelmont in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Thanks goes to Jim, and everyone at Microbelmont for Technical Advice to make my asphalt sport a safe one! Thanks again!

No mentioning of cameras, and where they will be.

Convert, (Steve) Thanks for the contribution, and will do my best!
